Lit Fest Press Book Competition
Lit Fest Press invites you to submit finished and edited manuscripts for our first book competition.
The winner will receive publication of the book, half of all entry fees collected, and ten copies of the book.
>Manuscripts should be single-spaced, 20-150 pages in length.
>Works can be any genre, hybrid, or undefinable.
>All works should be engaging from start to finish.
>The deadline to submit is December 31, 2016.
>The winner will be announced by March 31, 2017.
>The winning work will be published by December 31, 2017.
>Submit work to with “Yourlastname Book Competition” as the subject line.
>Entry fees are $20 for one manuscript, $35 for two, and $45 for three (with a limit of three).

Call for submissions on the writing workshop, deadline 10/30/16.
Lit Fest Press is soliciting for works questioning or praising the Writing Workshop. Papers may include: theoretical work, personal narratives, rants, creative works, manifestoes, interviews with yourself or others, artwork, or any combination of those and more. All works should be engaging from start to finish. Selected works will be published by Lit Fest Press by February 2017 in a print anthology. Contributors will receive a complimentary copy of the anthology and a significant discount on an unlimited number of additional copies.

Festival Writer Review Submission Guidelines
Festival Writer is no longer accepting regular submissions. We are currently only accepting reviews of all things literary, which may include reviews of Books, Journals, Websites, Publishers, Conferences & Events, etc.
Please send unpublished reviews of 200-999 words to with REVIEW-SUBMISSION in the subject line.
All documents should be single-spaced.
All authors are responsible for editing their own work before submitting. Unedited or sloppy work will not be considered.
Please include a 1-3 sentence bio in third person.
Simultaneous submissions are welcome as long as you notify us immediately if they are accepted elsewhere.
While we try to respond quickly to submissions, please wait 60 days after a submission to send inquiries.
Work that does not follow these guidelines may be immediately rejected. Please take time to become familar with our website, our writers, our mission, our failings or flailings, and our quirks. We like writers that support their fellow writers and the Festival in this way.
Book Reviews should include title of book, author's name as it appears in the book, translators and editors (if applicable), publisher, publisher's city, and year published.
Journal Reviews should include a link to the journal, where the journal is published (if possible), and who supports the journal (if applicable).
Website Reviews should include a URL.
Publisher or Press Reviews should include a URL.
Conference & Event Reviews should include dates of events reviewed and dates for forthcoming events as well as a link to a website or other contact information (if applicable).
Feel free to submit other reviews as you see fit. We would love to have reviews of literary places, writing retreats, libraries, writing programs, etc.
